Student Camp 2, Sunset

I like this project because the students get a chance to think about the colors as they go. It gives them a chance to slow down, mix, plan and see what colors they can create. And the paintings look great too.

Sunset, ages 8-11

The students looked at photographs of sunsets and we talked about the colors changes. They used "mosaic" shapes and mixed each color for the color transitions. Acrylic on canvas board.
