Designing Seed Packets, age 9 and up

We looked at the way seed packets are made to show us how wonderful the seeds would grow. The students had to think about borders, type of letter fonts and produce. They painted these on 5x7 inch cradled wood panels.

Pointillism Flamingos, ages 7-12

We talked about pointillism and looked at famous examples by Seurat. Then we drew flamingos and divided the shapes for each of the different colors. These are just a very few examples of the many that were done. Acrylic paint on 11x14 inch stretched canvas
