Happy Halloween Haunted Houses, teen class

We talked about how different types of lines can give us a different feeling in our art projects. Curved lines are softer and friendlier. Jagged and angled lines can give a threatening feeling, feeling of height...
The students used their knowledge of lines and made some pretty creepy watercolor and ink houses.

Wire Action Heros - ages 7 - 10

The students made up an action hero and made a fun poster. The heros were so creative. From cat girl, to pet hero, to lawn mower man... Then we made them into wire/pipe cleaner figures stapled to painted wooden bases. I am so sorry that I did not photo the posters. The students did a great job. But the wire figures are just as nice!

my example of super hero art girl!

Friday Pet Portrait and Pizza Class- age 8-11

Friday classes are added as I have time to add. The students have a great time painting, eating pizza, sharing riddles and making friends. Below is an example of the work from our pet portrait class.

Pumpkin Time - ages 7 - teens

This was a fun project we did in the student, teen and friday classes. Such a bright project to do as the days are getting shorter.  Here are just a few of the examples showing nice texture and color transitions. Acrylic on 11x14 inch wrapped canvas.
