Acrylic painting from teen class

This is one of the paintings from the teen class this past spring. The project was about choosing a theme and then use layers to convey the feeling of the theme. An abstract concept and done with nice technique.

"Whoo" likes color and patterns? ages 7-9

We traced a wooden owl shape and created patterns in the different areas. The students also did a thumbnail in markers that was just a good as the finished paintings. Painted in acrylic on 11x14 inch canvas board.
