Watecolors and ink, rhythm and patterns, teen class

I wanted to share a project the teen students did at the end of the year. We used a longer format watercolor paper and the students had to come up with a subject that twisted, interacted or looped together down the page. Then we added some diagonals so that the students could think of color or value changes for interest. Using white and black ink for patterns and textures was the icing on the cake. What a wonderful job they all did!
